Our Concerts

WordStage has created and performed a wide variety of literary, and musical, productions.  They all portray a particular historical event, person or place and are accompanied by the music of that era.  Our  productions are straightforward and (mostly) easily produced, with no sets or costumes…just words and music, presented by professional actors and musicians. What we offer is literature and music in their most pure forms

The catalog below will give you an idea of the breadth of the topics we have presented.  We can recreate any of these, or develop new ones based on your particular desires.

Production Catalog

This catalog is a compendium of performances drawn from WordStage productions presented at theaters, libraries and various literary and concert venues throughout Northeast Ohio and Central Vermont.   Many were originally created to reflect particular themes and specific program subjects in which some of our many venues have been engaged.  And whether or not these programs fall under the “Musical” classification, virtually all of them contain a musical element underscoring and/or enhancing our performances.

Any production listed in the catalog is available to be presented.  Some do have minimal requirements, such as the availability of a piano, but all can be adapted to the resources of virtually any venue.
